Sierra Club meets tonight near Frisco

The Blue River Group of the Sierra Club meets at 7 p.m. today in the Mount Royal Room of the County Commons near Frisco.

Jessica Pettee, the new GIS coordinator for the Dillon Ranger District of the U.S. Forest Service will be the guest speaker.

The group also will discuss the state Referendum A $2 billion water bond question and the county’s Referred Question 1A, renewal of an existing property tax to fund recycling, open space, the Community Care Clinic and water storage.
