Sierra Club to meet Monday

The Sierra Club’s Blue River Group will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Mount Royal Room of the County Commons building near Frisco.

The club will preview Tuesday’s election and discuss comments for motorized and nonmotorized designation in the White River National Forest Plan and other topical issues.

Also, the club would like members to attend the 5:30 p.m. meeting at the commons, where the Countywide Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on county mining regulations. That meeting is being held in the Buffalo Mountain meeting room.
