Sign up now to volunteer at high school MTB races in Frisco Aug. 26-27
When more than 1,000 mountain bikers and their families descend on Frisco, the Summit Tigers mountain bike team is going to need some serious help running the show.
From Aug. 26-27, the Colorado high school mountain biking league expects 500 racers per day from two conferences to arrive at the Frisco Adventure Park, representing 65 teams from Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. The event is the first stop in the season-long high school series, which relies on volunteers to deliver a safe, exceptional experience, while supporting student athletes in their personal and team pursuits.
There are many volunteer positions to choose from. Step up, grab a buddy, spend some time in the mountains, ride some sweet local trails and volunteer a few hours with:
1. Volunteer positions on Friday, including course setting, infield set-up, and registration.
2. Saturday and Sunday positions, including parking, course marshals, finish line, scoring, announcing, feed zone, racer staging and course take-down.
To sign up, browse the positions at ColoradoMTB.com/volunteer. Click the ‘Volunteer’ button to login with Signup.com on the volunteer page. You can confirm and find useful guides for each position. You will also receive confirmation emails regarding your commitment. On race weekend, check in at the volunteer tent at the time specified to review your position.
