Silverthorne announces studio availability at The Art Spot

The Silverthorne Art Board has announced the availability of four studios for rent at The Art Spot, a new makerspace in Silverthorne. The private rooms will be offered for artists and businesses within The Art Spot at subsidized rental rates.
The town is hosting several open houses for those interested to view the studio spaces and learn more about The Art Spot. Open houses will be held from 9-11 a.m Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28.
Qualified tenants include artists and businesses offering services or attractions related to the creative arts, or businesses serving artists in the community. Rental spaces can accommodate a variety of uses such as private artist studios, artist production space, creative sector business offices, concessions and other uses that complement The Art Spot mission. Introductory rental rates range from $190 to $420 a month depending on studio size.
Applications are due by noon Wednesday, Nov. 2. Top applicants will be selected by the town’s Art Board to provide additional information and will be contacted via email by Nov. 11. Interviews with selected applicants will be held on Nov. 16 and 17. Applicants not selected will be notified by email by Nov. 11.
