Silverthorne Baby Bazaar scheduled for Sunday

The town of Silverthorne and High Country Health Care will present the second annual Baby Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Silverthorne Pavilion. Parents can resell slightly used goods for newborns to five-year-olds at a discounted price. Due to safety concerns, resale of childcare seats will not be permitted. Resale of cribs, playpens and other toys must meet current federal standards in order to eligible for sale. In addition to shopping, Dr. Laurie Schwanitz, a High Country Health Care pediatrician, will discuss common childhood illnesses, such as colds, stomach viruses and diarrhea at 10 a.m. The event is free to shoppers. If you would like to reserve a booth for $25, contact Maggie Butler, Silverthorne Pavilion coordinator at (970) 262-7390.
