Cody Jones Follow
The town of Silverthorne is welcoming the cooler temperatures and the change in seasons with one of the town’s signature events, Pumpkin Fest.
The annual free community event will make its return to Rainbow Park on Sunday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Similar to previous years, the event will be highlighted by the grass area of the park being transformed into a pumpkin patch, offering free pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.
The fall celebration will also feature family-friendly activities like a mini train, bounce houses, face painting, a fall-themed photo area and fall crafts led by the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace. The Salida Circus will also return to perform its family-friendly Spooky Circus.
Food and beverages will be available or purchase from Freshies Food Cart, Red Buffalo Coffee, Summit Cultures Kombucha and Galactik Gourmet.
