Police are on the lookout for three male suspects involved in an armed robbery of Kum & Go in Silverthorne on Friday night. There were no injuries and a minimal amount of cash was taken from the register, said Sgt. Jacob Scott with Silverthorne Police Department. The masked suspects, three Hispanic males, two skinny and one heavier, aged 17 to 27, entered the store at about 10:57 p.m., brandishing what appeared to be handguns, he said. While leaving the store at 101 Ruby Ranch Road, one of the suspects removed his mask and store surveillance cameras recorded his face. The image is to be released later today. A witness followed the suspects as they fled south before losing sight of them at a parking lot near Sears. No arrests have been made, Scott said, though several people in the area were detained for questioning. Robert Allen can be contacted at (970) 668-4628 or rallen@summitdaily.com.
