Silverthorne man found dead inside residence

On Monday at 12:30 p.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s Office was called to perform a welfare check at 697 Aspen Drive in Silverthorne. It was determined that the 64-year-old male inside the residence had been deceased for roughly three weeks. The scene was consistent with natural circumstances, however an autopsy has been ordered to help determine cause of death. The decedent has been identified as William “Bill” Pearcy. He has lived in the county for about a year.
