Silverthorne opens new section of Adams Avenue
On Wednesday, Oct. 23, Silverthorne officially opened a new stretch of Adams Avenue from Willowbrook Road to Smith Ranch Road.
The town constructed the new roadway during the summer in efforts to provide a new north-to-south connection on the west side of Silverthorne. The new roadway includes a bridge, sidewalks and on-street parking which will provide access to the expanded Trent Park.
The Trent Park expansion project is still underway and is anticipated to open soon.
“By extending Adams Avenue from Smith Ranch to Willowbrook, the community has a new neighborhood-to-neighborhood connection that provides important access to amenities such as Trent Park and local trails,” assistant town manager Mark Leidal said in a news release.
