Silverthorne Police Department thanks community

The Silverthorne Police Department would like to thank everyone who helped with the Adopt-an-Angel program this year. As always, the community members and businesses of this county were extremely generous. We received many donations and gifts from the community, which made this program possible and helped many families have a festive Christmas. We also had many volunteers who helped prepare for the event and on the day of the event with registration and gift wrapping. We could not have done the event without them. We would also like to thank the Town of Silverthorne and the Silverthorne Pavilion staff for their assistance. In addition, we would like to thank the following people/businesses for their assistance: Assisting agencies: All police departments and the sheriff’s office, the fire departments, the ambulance service, the District Attorney’s Office, Colorado West and Summit County Court. Referral Agencies: Social Services, Public Health, the Community Care Clinic, FIRC, the School District, Mountain Mentors, Head Start, Early Intervention, Summit County Nursing, and Community Connections. Tree Locations and assisting businesses: Walmart, City Market, Silverthorne & Breckenridge recreation centers, Osh Kosh, Carters, Peek-a-Boo Toys, Krystal 93, Frisco Information Center, High Country Health Care, All-Valley Storage, Old Chicago, Outlets at Silverthorne, Target, Vail Resorts 360, The Summit Foundation, Around-the-World Toys and Chipotle. Media: Summit Daily News, Krystal 93, and SCTV. Thank you again for your generosity and assistance with this program.
