Silverthorne Police warn of Peeping Tom

SILVERTHORNE – The Silverthorne Police Department wants citizens to be on the lookout for a Peeping Tom in town. Public information officer Verna Pottle said the department has taken three reports of a Peeping Tom in the area of Center Circle and Rainbow Drive in the past two months.In two reports, the suspect was described as a male, 5 feet 6 inches tall to five feet 9 inches tall, with short, curly hair. In a third report, the victim only saw the suspect’s shoes.Chief Kent Donahue urges citizens to be alert and to report any suspicious activity to the Silverthorne Police Department at (970) 262-7323.Anyone with information on the suspect should call the police department or Summit County Crime Stoppers at (866) 452-7867.
