Silverthorne residents to be able to pay bills online

Daily News staff report

The Town of Silverthorne is working with EmGovPower to update its software, load and test a more secure sales tax and business license module and install a Citizen Web module that will allow residents to make payments on the Town’s website.

Customers can set up a login and password through a secure connection to make payments for water and sewer bills, sales taxes, business licenses and possibly fines.

There’s still a long to-do list to work through and bugs and kinks need to be ironed out, but town officials hope they can begin to accept online payments by the end of May.
