Silverthorne starts work on Ruby Ranch traffic light

Silverthorne started the construction for the new Ruby Ranch traffic light the week of Monday, April 14, which will be located at the intersection of Ruby Ranch Road and Blue River Parkway.
Officials say this is intended to provide safer access to the neighborhoods of Smith Ranch, Ruby Ranch and Blue River Run, as well as area businesses. It will also provide safe pedestrian crossings for the various nearby neighborhoods to access the Blue River Trail.
The town estimates roadwork will begin in mid-May and will last until mid-July. The new traffic light is expected to be functioning by fall 2025.
Temporary one-lane closures and detours will be in place at various times throughout the construction process. All lane closures and detours will be flagged and signed to notify travelers.
