Silverthorne: ‘The Colorado River: Flowing through Conflict’ slide show and book signing tonight

Continental Divide Land Trust hosts author and National Geographic photographer Peter McBride for a presentation of his new book “The Colorado River: Flowing through Conflict” at the Silverthorne Pavilion tonight. Doors open at 5 with a reception and opportunity to meet McBride, followed by his slide show, Q&A and book signing from 6-7:30. In his full-color, photo essay book, McBride follows the length of the river’s epic 1,450-mile journey from its headwaters high in the Rockies to its dried-up delta touching the Sea of Cortez. Tickets are available at the door with a suggested donation of $10 person, school-age kids are free.
