Silverthorne to kick off Christmas celebrations with December First Friday

Silverthorne will have numerous holiday festivities for its December First Friday celebration.

Silverthorne will host its annual tree lighting ceremony as part of December’s First Friday festivities. The community event will take place on Friday, Dec. 6, kicking off at 4:30 p.m. at the Silverthorne Pavilion. The event will include holiday carolers from the Summit Chorale Society and holiday music from the Summit Community Orchestra and Rocky Mountain Brass Band. Santa will be on-site in addition to crafts at Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea and holiday story time.

Also, attendees can shop at the holiday art market, featuring 35 local artists spread across the Silverthorne Pavilion. The holiday market will also feature a second day of shopping on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
