Silverthorne: Try your hand at bingo tonight

Daily News staff report

Summit County Elks Lodge #2561 in Silverthorne is the only place to play bingo in Summit County. Every Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m., the balls are checked and the board is lighted, bingo sheets are sold, and then the action begins.

All members of our community are invited to join in the fun, and dinner is available, too. The big jackpot rises as high as $800.

Proceeds from bingo support the Elks’ charitable activities in Summit County, including our sponsored Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack, local veteran’s support, and the Community Dinner.

The lodge is located just north of Target on Highway 9 in Silverthorne.
