Silverthorne’s always-popular Twilight Skate returns on Jan. 20 to North Pond Park.

The Twilight Skate will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m., during which time people are invited to grab their ice skates and come out for a free community skate.

North Pond Park is directly across the street from the Silverthorne Elementary School at the corner of Hamilton Creek Road and Highway 9 on the northern end of town. Once there, you will find people enjoying time on the ice or warming up with a bowl of chili and a treat for dessert.

Headlamps or flashlights are recommended. Skates will not be available for rental, but if you don’t own a pair, warm snow boots usually work pretty well, according to town staff.
