On Friday, July 18, the National Repertory Orchestra will present its Pink Concert in support of the Shaw Breast Center & Cancer Clinic in Frisco. Led by maestro Carl Topilow, the NRO will perform “Topilow Pops,” a compilation of Broadway and Hollywood favorites, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Each year, the National Repertory Orchestra’s “Topilow Pops” concert ranks among one of the audience’s favorite performances and has become an instant classic in the summer repertoire of the NRO. Children and adults alike will appreciate music from such Broadway musicals as “Wicked,” “Mamma Mia” and “Grease,” sing along to the sounds of the late, great Marvin Hamlisch and enjoy selections from Disney favorites such as “Frozen,” “Aladdin” and “The Lion King.”

Mezzo-soprano Jennifer DeDominici and tenor Daniel Fosha will join the National Repertory Orchestra to delight audiences with their vocal talents. DeDominici has sung the roles of Siebel in “Faust,” Petra in “A Little Night Music” and Zita in “Gianni Schicchi.” The Colorado Springs Gazette has raved about her “sultry lower register and smooth, silky tone that can turn angry and shrill when the drama requires it. She’s also a convincing actress, whether seductive or raging.” Fosha, a voice professor at Colorado College, is renowned for his versatility in a variety of musical styles, whether performing opera, musical theater or works from the classical repertory. He brings an elegance and a crystal clear, honeyed tenor to all of the music he sings.

The Shaw Regional Cancer Center is thrilled to be a part of the National Repertory Orchestra’s Pink Concert. After serving Summit County residents for nearly 15 years, Shaw Regional Cancer Center is excited to announce the opening of The Shaw Breast Center & Cancer Clinic, located at 323 W. Main St. in Frisco. Shaw is the only breast center in Summit County to offer 3D mammography. In addition, their top physicians and experts are available for convenient treatments and consultations in a brand new, private setting.

For the second time, radio station Krystal 93 is partnering with the National Repertory Orchestra for a live concert broadcast. This is a very special partnership because it gives supporters and parents of the musicians an opportunity to hear the National Repertory Orchestra from all over the world.
