Ski home to Blue Sky

The fifty-two ski-in, ski-out residences at Blue Sky Breckenridge mark a new chapter in our area. The amenities, luxury and attention to detail here speak to a new era in slopeside living. Careful planning has led to an amazing group of residences which enjoy in-floor radiant heating, a twenty-four hour front desk, concierge service, heated driveway, underground parking, and large storage units with roll-up doors.First of all, there is the location which enjoys an on-site lift to whisk skiers and riders up the mountain. On the first level are a ski ticket office of its own, a ski shop and a day spa. The central core of Breckenridge Main Street is only three blocks away.

The center of the building begins with a Great room common area with imposing stone fireplace and cathedral ceiling. The core of this area also includes banquet rooms for functions, a boardroom, and a lofted library with Internet lounge. Other common areas feature a residents’ lounge, male and female steam rooms, a Fitness room, and a children’s game room. A covered corridor leads out to the heated year-round pool and spas, and the western veranda which looks up to the mountain vistas. The veranda on the east side enjoys views of Baldy Mountain and the Town of Breckenridge. Three elevators are spaced around the building to provide convenient access to all residences. Today’s focus is on 42 Snowflake Drive, which is a two bedroom, two bath home with 1137 feet of living space. Offered at $1,099,000, this residence will be completed in the summer and is fully furnished and accessorized, as are the other homes in the building.

The entry is slated. To the left are a coat closet, laundry and owners’ closet. Interior details include arched two panel alder doors, floating hardwood floors, and neutral carpeting. The kitchen is open and features granite slab with a rough hewn edge in warm saddle and chestnut tones. The cabinets are chestnut with a rope detail design. Appliances are from the GE Profile series and include range, refrigerator, and dishwasher, all in stainless. The quality of construction is excellent, with airlock double framing between units for extra soundproofing. This particular residence has a living area centered by a dry stack fireplace and built in shelving detail. There are wonderful views of the Snowflake lift and Four o’clock run. A private deck allows a place for morning coffee or afternoon Happy Hour. The five piece master bath boasts a separate shower, dual sinks, and granite decking around the tub. Euro-style doors and double sinks are other design elements. The second bath also has tile trim and is shared by the living area.

The rental elements of the homes will be managed by The Resort Company, which also manages The Charter in Beaver Creek. There are only a handful of homes still available for summer occupancy. Homes range from one bedroom to four, and floor plans vary. With the convenience of the Snowflake lift downstairs, ski storage nearby, Breckenridge’s dining and shopping options just a short stroll away, amazing views, and careful attention to quality and detail, these homes are the perfect location for your four season mountain home.
