Skier found dead at Breckenridge Monday

BRECKENRIDGE – A 45-year-old skier with a history of heart disease died Monday at the Breckenridge Ski Resort, County Coroner Joanne Richardson reported.Kevin Vosburgh of Eureka, Calif., was discovered on his back on the Crystal run under the Falcon chairlift, about 10 feet from trees with no apparent trauma, Richardson said.He was skiing with friends and had arrived in the county on Saturday. Ski patrollers took him to the Breckenridge Medical Center. Richardson said the man “had a medical history associated with heart disease.” A toxicology report is pending.The case is Richardson’s 10th of the year.
