Skier killed at Keystone Friday

A 27-year-old skier from New Mexico died Friday following a collision with a tree at Keystone Resort, according to a release from the Summit County Coroner’s Office.

Arthur Glaz is believed to have been skiing down the intermediate trail Porcupine when he struck a tree. The coroner’s office was called to St. Anthony Summit Medical Center at 3:13 p.m. concerning the incident. The circumstances and manner of death are consistent with an accident according to the coroner’s office statement.

Glaz is believed to have been wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
