Snake River Development group to meet

SUMMIT COUNTY – Members of the Snake River Development Fund will host a planning session Tuesday, March 5 to discuss what activities, programs and facilities should be in the Keystone Community Center.

The group formed to help Keystone evolve into a community by building community facilities. Keystone Real Estate Development has set aside two lots for community facilities, and so far has saved $200,000 toward the eventual construction of buildings on those lots.

Thus far, the group has heard a lot of support for a performing art center. Other possibilities include a day-care center, chapel and library.

Fund president Bob Follett has said he would like to see a groundbreaking in May 2003.

Tuesday’s meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Keystone Conference Center. The public is urged to attend.
