Snow could be on the horizon for Summit County

SUMMIT COUNTY – Much needed snow showers could arrive this week in Summit County, along with cold temperatures and cloudy skies.

A little snow is likely Wednesday, mainly before 11 a.m., said the National Weather Service website. Up to 2 inches are possible, on top of 1-2 inches predicted to arrive Thursday. The chance of precipitation Wednesday is 60 percent, with a high temperature near 22.

The National Weather Service is also predicting a 20 percent chance of snow Wednesday night, with a low temperature around -2.

Thursday’s predictions point to a 30 percent chance of snow, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 25. Thursday night has a 10 percent chance of snow, with a low around zero.

A 20 percent chance of snow is predicted for Friday, again with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 30. There’s only a slight chance for snow Friday night, with a low around 9.

Saturday’s predictions again point to a chance for snow, clouds and cold weather.
