A man from Illinois was killed in a snowmobile accident Monday on Fremont Pass, Lake County Coroner Shannon Kent confirmed.

Albert Wojciech Drwal, 46, apparently died of injuries from an unspecified accident while snowmobiling on the pass between Summit and Lake counties. He was visiting Colorado from Oak Lawn, Ill., but was sledding with a group of friends, not a commercial outfit when the accident occurred, Kent said.
