Two-year-old Tate Cowan of Silver Plume shows off his Easter eggs that he found at Loveland Ski Area. The conditions were perfect for Loveland Ski Area's Amazing Giant Easter Egg Hunt. Giant eggs were hidden all around the mountain, and winners went home with skis, snowboards and lots of gear.

Towns and resorts hosted Easter celebrations on Sunday in Summit County. The town of Frisco and Copper Mountain Ski Resort hosted two family-friendly Easter egg hunts, including more than 55,000 treat-filled eggs, prizes for hunters and appearances by the Easter bunny. Loveland and Arapahoe Basin ski areas also got in to the mix with hunts on the slopes, and the North Branch Library in Silverthorne hosted an egg hunt after story time on the Wednesday before Easter.
