Social Summit: Keystone Science School hosts Girls in STEM event

On Saturday, April 25, the Keystone Science School hosted a Girls in STEM event to encourage young girls from third through sixth grades to learn more about science, technology, engineering and math subjects. Activities included team-building exercises and hands-on engineering projects. Thanks to financial support from the technology company Avout and the molecular diagnostics company F Cubed, the Keystone Science School was able to reduce the cost of the program from $45 to $20 per student and offer a second day program in the fall.
