Social Summit: Park County man wins KSMT Great Heli Ski Giveaway
by Krista Driscoll
After three hours of rapid-fire rock-paper-scissors tournament action at Lakeside Bowl on Friday, March 6, Dave Kupfermann, of Park County, was crowned the 2015 KSMT Great Heli Ski Giveaway champion.
Kupfermann triumphed over more than 200 other local entrants from Summit and neighboring counties to take home the prize, a heli skiing trip to Alaska, including transportation and lodging.
Runner-up Ryan Taylor walked away with a pair of Meier skis from Virgin Island Ski Rental, and thousands of dollars in other prizes from sponsors were also given away throughout the evening.
“I want to extend a huge thank you to our listeners and local community for supporting the KSMT Great Heli Ski Giveaway,” said Lindsey Cotton, general manager of Always Mountain Time. “Our sponsors make this amazing trip possible: SEABA of South East Alaska, Standard Sales Budweiser, Copper Mountain, Fresh Tracks Transportation, Avalanche Sports, Virgin Island Ski Rental, Lakeside Bowl and Unity Snowboards.”
