Social Summit: Snow keeps coming to our mountain paradise

Summit County resorts were all posting snow totals of at least a foot for the past week, as of Thursday afternoon. Keystone Resort was reporting 3 inches of fresh in the past 24 hours and 12 inches in the past week; Copper Mountain Resort had 5 inches in the past 24 hours and 17 in the past week; Breckenridge Ski Resort claimed 8 inches for the day and 27 inches in the past week; and Arapahoe Basin Ski Area had 3 inches for the day and a foot for the week.

Opensnow.com is predicting another 7 inches to 16 inches for A-Basin, Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper through the weekend. The website lists Wolf Creek, Aspen Highlands and Powderhorn as the best bets for powder. Get the latest forecasts at http://www.opensnow.com.
