Arapahoe Basin Ski Area hosted its weekly Shakin’ at the Basin May Concert Series on Saturday, May 10, with music from The Congress.

The weekend crowds were out in force, despite overcast skies and lower temperatures ahead of a spring storm that brought 8 inches of snow in 24 hours to the ski area Monday, May 12.

The Congress rocked out all afternoon on a stage set up in the base area, and the tunes could be heard whether you were right in front of the stage, on the deck or in the lift line. The free concerts continue Saturday, May 17, with Funky Johnson and Saturday, May 24, featuring High Five.
