Soup for the Soul, Bread for the Clinic thanks community

Summit County, Colorado

The staff and patients at Summit Community Care Clinic wish to express an enormous THANK YOU to the community for making our second major fundraiser, “Soup for the Soul, Bread for the Clinic,” a phenomenal success on Saturday. Many people contributed countless hours and funds to support the healthcare home for Summit County’s uninsured, working class. A colossal “thank you” to our host Copper Mountain Resort, as well as to all of our wonderful sponsors:

High Country Health Care, Vail Summit Orthopaedics, Alpine Bank, Peak One Surgery, 1st Bank, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, Modis, and the Summit County Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association. The following groups were crucial to our successful evening; Synagogue of the Summit, Summit County Rotaract Club, St. John’s Episcopal Church, Dillon Community Church, Copper Mountain Fire Department, Father Dyer Methodist Church, Colorado Mountain College Advanced Ceramics students, High Country Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Summit Choral Society and Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church. Over 130 businesses and individuals donated items for our silent auction, and there we at least 20 individuals the night of the event who volunteered to make the event run smoothly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
