Speaker to feature conservation incentives

FRISCO – Does your new Energy Star dishwasher get you a tax rebate? If you invest in solar panels for your home will you get some money back from your energy company?Find the answers to these and many other questions with local renewable energy expert Eric Westerhof at the Summit Green Building Project’s January speaker series this Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Frisco Recreation Building (110 3rd Ave).The presentation will feature an overview of the incentives provided for energy efficiency and renewable energy in Colorado’s Amendment 37 and the Federal Energy Bill, followed by a question and answer session.”There are so many ways to conserve energy in your home or business and so many choices for supplementing or supplying your power from renewables in Colorado,” said Carly Wier of the High Country Conservation Center. “These days the possibilities are plentiful.”The featured speaker, Eric Westerhof, is the president and owner of the Breckenridge-based Innovative Energy. Innovative Energy designs, installs, and services all types of renewable energy systems and has over ten years experience in the field.
