Special nights planned at Theater Silco during “A Christmas Carol” production

Theater SilCo is planning to host several special promotional nights during the run of “A Christmas Carol,” from Dec 3-22.

The production is a reimagining of the classic tale of redemption and the holiday spirit adapted by Patrick Barlow, according to a press release from the theater. During the run, the theater will host nights celebrating local educators, residents, first responders and veterans.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, the theater will celebrate Educators Night. On this night, teachers, professors, education staff and administrators will be eligible for a 30% discount to see the production. Ski school, fitness, music and yoga instructors will also be eligible for this discount.

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, the theater will host a Locals Night promotion, offering $25 tickets to any resident who lives and works in Summit County. Complimentary childcare will also be available during the show. Residents are encouraged to contact the Theater SilCo box office directly to reserve discounted tickets by verifying local employment. Locals Night tickets are now on sale.

The final promotional night will be First Responders and Veterans Night on Tuesday, Dev. 17. Tickets will be 30% off for all police, search and rescue, medical providers, firefighters, EMT personnel and military veterans.
