Special showing of ‘Hidden’ Sunday for Holocaust Remembrance Day

BRECKENRIDGE ” The Backstage production of “Hidden,” which continues through April 22, will have a special show this Sunday at 2 p.m. for Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The play, written by Backstage Theatre artistic director Chris Willard, looks into what it was like to be in Holland during the World War II occupation and tells the stories of the rescuers of Jews.

Synagogue of the Summit and the Father Dyer church are hosting the performance, which will be followed by a discussion led by Rabbi Joel Schwartzman and Pastor Tracy Hausman. Before the show a performance of music and poetry, which were retrieved from the Theresienstadt concentration camp, will be performed by Lori and Mike Schneider and Willie Hoevers.
