Spontaneous Combustion looking for volunteers

Frisco will host its first annual community bonfire on Feb. 5, 2005, from late afternoon to early evening on the town-owned parcel known as “B-1” (across Highway 9 from the Backcountry Brewery).The bonfire, which will be called Spontaneous Combustion I, will include kid-friendly events such as snowman-making and marshmallow roasting, as well as the telling of the town story, the introduction of people new to Frisco in the past year, the remembering of those who have left us in the past year and the crowning of the Frisco Sacrificial Virgin. Spontaneous Combustion will be held in conjunction with the Frisco Gold Rush and Mid-Winter’s Night.Volunteers are needed in the areas of event organization (for both kids’ and adult events), fire-tending, post-combustion clean-up and beverage-serving.
