Kearney wins freestyle World Cup moguls event

TIGNES, France – World champion Hannah Kearney of the United States won a freestyle World Cup women’s moguls event Wednesday. Kearney beat Jennifer Heil of Canada. Kearney scored 25.75 and Heil 25.37 over the 249-yard course. “I want to win everything this season,” said Kearney, alluding to the Winter Olympics. “That’s my goal, but everyone here is going to be challenging. It’s kind of up in the air.” Tapio Luusua of Finland took the men’s event with a score of 25.64. Reigning champion Jeremy Bloom of the United States was fourth at 25.19. “I had problems on the top of the run,” Bloom said. “I’ve been having a lot of that recently.”
