Like Keystone, Copper Mountain is reporting its snowiest March on record

Less than hallway through the month, Copper Mountain is reporting it has broken the resort’s record for the snowiest March ever recorded.
The ski resort’s previous record was set in March 2001 at 86 inches. However, Copper Mountain received 88 inches through March 14 this year, and that’s with plenty of time to add to that total.
Copper Mountain’s record breaking March isn’t unique in Summit County, though, as Keystone Resort also surpassed its snowiest March on record on the same day Copper did, as Keystone was reporting 84 inches of snowfall from March 1 through March 14.
According to Keystone, this has been the resort’s snowiest month since December 1996, when Keystone Resort got 90 inches, which also puts it within reach of having its snowiest on record by the end of the month.
