The Summit Fat Tire Society mountain biking association will host its annual end-of-season meeting on Friday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at the Backcountry Brewery in Frisco. Organizers plan to discuss the past season and look ahead to projects for the coming year.

The meeting is also an opportunity for guests to mingle with area mountain bikers and to voice opinions about what the biking community would like to see in the future.

While the meeting is for members to share their feedback and ask questions, non-members are welcome to attend and encouraged to join.

Representatives from the town of Breckenridge Open Spaces and Trails department and the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District will be on hand to share information on their partnerships with SFTS as well as trail-work progress and planning. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:30.

For those wanting to get in one last bike ride for the season, SFTS will host its End of Season Hootenanny in Moab, Utah, Oct. 24-26.

The SFTS crew will be heading down to the desert on Friday, Oct. 24, to set up camp at Kane Springs Campground, just outside of town. The organization has reserved a large group campsite and is inviting all of its members to join for free.
