While the Alpine skiing World Cup circuit may have shifted its focus back to Europe for the rest of the season, Colorado’s junior athletes took to Steamboat Springs last week for the 2015 USSA Rocky/Central division Junior Championships. Steamboat hosted U16 events all week. Winter Park will host the U14 level competitions this coming week.

Summit County’s own Team Breckenridge sent five of their skiers to the two events combined. Katy Kropatsch, Alex Cregan and Dana Sheldon qualified from the U16 girls team and raced in Steamboat. Nick Cregan and Samantha Cheek made the U14 Junior Championships and will be in Winter Park this week competing.
