Local counselors in training with the Keystone Science School take samples from South Willow Creek in the Eagles Nest Wilderness on June 3. They were searching for macro invertebrates as a way to measure water quality, and as they told photographer Linfield, they were happy to report that South Willow Creek has plenty of them. Thus, the water quality is top notch. The first batch of students arrives at the science school in about two weeks.
