Spring CMC registration is under way

The spring course schedule for Colorado Mountain College is out, registration has begun and classes start Jan. 14.

To ensure a place in class, register early. The CMC-Summit course schedule can be found in your mailbox, online or at the front desk of the college at 103 S. Harris in Breckenridge or 333 Fiedler Ave. in Dillon. Online course information and registration may be found at http://www.coloradomtn.edu/register.

Some of the most popular topics for local residents include early childhood education, fire science, computers, wilderness emergency medical services, nursing prerequisites, Spanish and art. Also, classes cover a wide-range of interests from accounting to Alpine rescue, or from ice climbing to Indians of North America.

New students and those who have not taken classes within the past 10 months must fax, mail, or register in person at the front desk. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Returning students may also register online, or by mail, phone or fax.
