Amateur outdoor photographers are invited to capture the bright colors of spring with a full-day landscape photography workshop with John Fielder June 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event is headquartered at The Photo Shop at 300 S. Main St. in Breckenridge for a morning slide show presentation. The workshop goes out into the field for an afternoon wandering the side streets of old town Breckenridge photographing historic buildings, elaborately painted Victorian homes and colorful flowers of early spring. Then, a short drive out of town, scenic backcountry locations come into focus as lime green leafing aspen, icy waterfalls and a mountain meadow beaver pond take center stage. It’s appropriate for all levels of outdoor photographer, especially beginners and intermediates. Cost is $395 per person. For more info contact denise@deniserobert.com or call (303) 368-5208.
