CommonSpirit St. Anthony Summit Hospital of Frisco was recognized by the Leapfrog Group as one of nine regional hospitals to receive an “A” grade for hospital safety.

The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit monitoring patient safety, assigns letter grades to general hospitals across the country. The model assesses errors, accidents, injuries and infections as related to patient safety.

The CommonSpirit Mountain Region hospitals that earned “A” grades this year are located in Colorado, Kansas and Utah. The Mountain Region provides tips for staying safe in the hospital at HospitalSafetyGrade.org.
