Steve Lapinsohn: Dudick for Breck council

Steve Lapinsohn, owner, The North Face Breckenridge, The Main Street OutletChairman of the Breckenridge Chamber board of directors

To all Breckenridge residents: The Breckenridge Town Council race is on, and there are definitely a number of individuals who stand out as worthy representatives for the people of our community.

One of those standouts is Mike Dudick, whom I’ve had the pleasure of serving with on the board of directors for our local Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce.

He’s been on the board for five years and I’ve found him to be a very strong and fair communicator. He’s tremendously intelligent, well informed and honest. He’s fair and direct, but diplomatic. He works well within a group and has a strong understanding of not only how to read a balance sheet, but also how to keep one balanced. He’s done a phenomenal job of representing and fighting for the lodging community and small businesses.

Mike understands the need for marketing our town and how to accomplish this, as he has been successfully doing so in both publishing and as head of marketing for both Grand Timber Lodge and Grand Lodge.

It’s imperative that we elect representatives that will understand both the need to keep our small town feel alive and well, especially with continued development going on in Breckenridge. We also need representatives that understand the importance of properly marketing our town, so that we remain competitive in a difficult economic environment. We need representatives that fairly represent the needs of small business and lodging.

Mike Dudick gets it and has demonstrated his expertise and understanding of the needs of our town over many years. We need Mike Dudick representing us on town council. Please give him your vote.
