Steven Levine: Big thanks from Rotary

Steven Levine
Rotary Car Raffle Chairman

As chairman of the Rotary Car Raffle, I would like to congratulate Peter Pinson of Dillon as the winner of the 2010 Subaru Forester. I would also like to congratulate Wendy Myers, Betty Naftz and Nancy Hitz, co-chairs of the Krystal93 BBQ At The Summit and their teams, along with all the volunteers for making this years BBQ the huge success that it was. Thank you also to the Dillon Police Department and especially to Police Chief Joe Wray for all of their work during the BBQ. Special mention to Climax Molybdenum for their donations for the performance stage.

The success of 2010 Rotary Car Raffle could not have happened without the assistance I received from co-chair Steve Cornwell and Deborah Hage, along with all the Rotarians who gave their time and effort these past months. I would also like to thank the following whose help was truly appreciated: Matt Younger – Vista Auto Group, Kelly and Arron – Custom Tint, Brad Esser – Dillon Farmers Market, Karin Bearnarth – Breckenridge Farmers Market, Jim Berhost – Dillon City Market manager, Dennise Helmick – Breckenridge City Market manager, the event managers of Frisco, Silverthorne and Keystone, and the Summit Daily News for their articles and photos.

The monies raised from our events are used for many programs here in Summit County. Some of these programs are: student scholarships, literacy programs in our schools, the community dinner held each Tuesday at the Elks Lodge in Silverthorne, sponsorship of The 9Health Fair, packages sent to our troops overseas, student exchange programs and many more.

Thank you to all who purchased tickets for the car raffle and attending the Krystal93 BBQ At The Summit.
