DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

SILVERTHORNE – The Silverthorne Police Department needs the community’s help in finding whoever stole a snow blower from a local hotel last month. The blower was taken from a storage shed at the Quality Inn and Suites between Nov. 14 and Nov. 22.It appears someone entered the shed and wheeled the blower to a waiting vehicle and drove away with it, according to a press release from the Silverthorne Police Department.”It isn’t the biggest crime we will face, but we sure would like to get the snow blower back to its owner and hold the thieves accountable for their actions,” said officer Amy Noraka.Police are asking anyone who knows anything about the crime to contact the Silverthorne Police Department at (970) 262-7320 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-453-STOP. Anonymous tipsters could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
