Student arrested for possession of pot

BRECKENRIDGE – A 14-year-old Summit High School student was arrested for possession of marijuana, according to the Sheriff’s Office.On Nov. 9, a deputy responded to the high school after a complaint was called in saying the student was found with a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana.According to the deputy’s report, he took the student to the Sheriff’s Office and tested the substance, which came up presumptive positive for THC.The report also said the student told the deputy the substance was his marijuana and did not want to say where it came from. The student was read his rights and issued a summons for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.
