Student found passed out in ditch

FRISCO – A Summit High School student was taken to Summit Medical Center Friday evening after a police officer found him lying in a ditch near Seventh and Granite streets, according to Frisco police chief Tom Wickman.The 16-year-old had a blood alcohol level of 0.378 when he was found at about 9 p.m., Wickman said.Police are investigating how the teen ended up in the ditch and where he got the alcohol he consumed. Anyone with information should call the Frisco Police Department at (970) 668-3579, or make an anonymous call to Summit County Crime Stoppers at (866) 453-STOP.
