Sue Schnitzer to entertain for the final Silverthorne Pavilion Sunday Play Day

Special to the Daily

SILVERTHORNE – On Mother’s Day Sunday, the Silverthorne Pavilion will wrap up the children’s Sunday Play Day series with a bounce house, entertainment on stage and a craft activity focusing on mom.

“Moms will have the chance to relax and even enjoy a ‘momosa’ while the kids create a craft gift for Mother’s Day, run out all their energy in the bounce houses and enjoy a show,” said Pavilion events assistant Becky Hodgell.

Tickets to the Play Day are $5 and available in advance at the Silverthorne Recreation Center or at the Silverthorne Pavilion day-of. Parents, and children under the age of 1 will be admitted free of charge.

The event will begin at 3 p.m. and the stage entertainment portion with children’s entertainer Sue Schnitzer begins at 4 p.m. Schnitzer encourages her audiences to sing along, jump, dance, twirl, stamp their feet, clap their hands and have fun while she sings. Popcorn and soda will be available for sale. Contact the Silverthorne Recreation Center at (970) 262-7370 for more information.
