There aren’t many places left on the planet where man is only a visitor. We’re lucky to have such wonderful places in Colorado. But without legal protection, they will disappear. Because legal protection is so critical to preserving what cannot be recreated after it’s lost, I’m writing to thank Jared Polis for his leadership on wilderness legislation. After a long process involving so much community input, and over 4,800 citizen endorsements, we finally have a bill in Congress (H.R. 6280 – Eagle and Summit County Wilderness Preservation Act) thanks to Congressman Polis. Please rally your friends and let him know you support his initiative.
