The Summit High School boys soccer team recorded a triumphant win over The Classical Academy on Saturday, Oct. 5, in Colorado Springs.

Prior to the 4-0 shutout win over The Classical Academy Titans, Summit recorded a huge win over Vail Mountain School in Breckenridge on Sept. 24 before playing four straight games on the road.

Senior Nico Novotny, junior Elijah Rowe, senior Griffin Gamboa and junior Omar Ba all scored goals in Summit’s 4-0 win over The Classical Academy. Junior Johan Gomez was awarded the shutout win as the goalkeeper for the Tigers.

After four games on the road, Summit will play two games at Climax Molybdenum Field at Tiger Stadium this upcoming week. The 4-5-1 Summit Tigers will face Eagle Valley High School on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 6 p.m. before taking on Loveland High School on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m.
